However, if that’s somehow not enough to convince you, there’s a white woman who went viral for hurling racial slurs at a 5-year-old Black child at a park in Minnesota, who reportedly has raised more than half a million dollars to supposedly help her relocate after her cruel and egregious racism allegedly got her harassed.
Hell, maybe it’s the world that’s racist, not just America. Either way, anti-Blackness is such a strong influencer in the Western world that people saw the following video and thought: Yeah, that child-attacking Klanny Karen is sympathetic.
According to the Minnesota Star Tribune, the woman who can be seen carrying her own child at Soldiers Field Memorial Park as she repeatedly called another child the N-word has been identified as Shiloh Hendrix of Rochester. The Tribune noted that a woman of the same name set up a page on a supposedly “Christian” fundraising service, whining that the video had put her family into a “very dire situation.” She also, on her fundraiser, justified calling a small child the N-word by claiming the boy had stolen something from her 18-month-old’s diaper bag, which is why she “called the kid out for what he was.” She actually offered the same pitiful excuse in the video after she was confronted by someone else at the park over her racism.
“If he acts like one, then he’s going to be called one,” Hendrix can be heard saying about the child to the man who confronted her after she doubled and tripled down on calling him the slur.
Some people on social media mentioned that the Black child is rumored to have autism, but that doesn’t matter, whether it’s true or not. Again, this is a 5-year-old child who allegedly did something that 5-year-old children of any race, who don’t know any better, commonly do. The only reason it would even occur to this rabid white woman to use a racial slur is that the child happened to be Black.
Yet, according to the Tribune, this monster has raised around $300,000 so far just because she complained that her own actions have jeopardized the safety of her children, whom she wasn’t concerned about when she was gleefully shouting “n*gger” while smiling into the camera.
“I fear that we must relocate,” Hendrix wrote. “I have two small children who do not deserve this. We have been threatened to the extreme by people online. Anything will help! We cannot, and will not live in fear!”
And, by the way, if you’re wondering exactly what kind of people would donate to her non-cause, one of the anonymous donors listed their name as “Dylan Roof,” you know, the white supremacist who maliciously gunned down nine congregants in a Black church in South Carolina.
As far as I’m concerned, everyone who donated a single cent to Hendrix’s campaign is every bit as repugnant as she and whoever is behind the Roof account are.
“Now she’s fundraising on this, and that is just abhorrent and totally unacceptable,” said Rochester NAACP president Wale Elegbede. “She needs to face legal consequences for all her actions. This is a disgrace.”
