The Sunmills have shared a new single, titled “Rock and Roll”. Hailing from Highland, Utah, The Sunmills are a trio harnessing the raw, gut-punching energy of ’90s alternative rock while somehow turning emotional chaos into a brand. They recently released singles “Not Going Home” and “Take Me Away” ahead of their upcoming album The Art of Burning Bridges, each one presenting a blend of hard-hitting, raw sonics and lyrical side-eye. They now return with a fresh single called “Rock and Roll”, which continues their streak of offerings that combine energetic alt-rock soundscapes with witty, sarcastic lyricism.

“Rock and Roll” builds an energetic soundscape through its usage of raw, gripping guitar riffs layered above punchy percussion and infectious bass-lines. The track contains dynamic vocals that builds through vibrant verses into a potent hook, demonstrating a keen ear for catchy melodies. Featuring a blend of modern rock influences with classic rock and alt-rock undertones, the song makes for a versatile, colorful new offering from The Sunmills.

“Rock and Roll” arrives ahead of The Sunmills’ new album The Art of Burning Bridges, which is arriving May 9, and it makes for a diverse, vibrant track that blends sleek vocals, gritty riffs, and engaging grooves.
